THORPE ADDS VOICE TO ‘BEST OF’ CONVENTION
SUNSHINE COAST IDENTITY INVITED TO SPEAK ALONGSIDE INTERNATIONAL REAL ESTATE GREATS
Highly respected life coach and business mentor Grant Thorpe joins a 'who's who' of international business identities at the Best of Australian Real Estate Convention, bARE, to be held on the Gold Coast, Queensland in September this year.
Thorpe, who is an international award winner in the L.J. Hooker network with many accolades including a 2005 Franchise Owner of the Year award to his name, chose to call the Sunshine Coast home in 2006.
"Grant was an obvious inclusion in a convention that showcases the best of business practices," said Convention Chairman, Ian Grace.
"He is one of L.J. Hooker's most awarded and respected high achievers, and is an internationally recognized coach and mentor with 'tall poppy' clients in Australia, New Zealand and the United States.

Thorpe joins a top-class group of Australian identities on the speaker program. These include Peter Sissons, Sissons Estate Agents; Tim Lawless, Colliers/PRDnationwide; Simon Tennent, HIA; Noel Whittaker, Whittaker Macnaught; and Philip Webb, Philip Webb Real Estate, who is the Australian president of the International Real Estate Federation.
Grace himself is a world-recognised authority and speaker on real estate advertising and customer service, and will be presenting at bARE.
International speakers include Sherry Chris, Chief Operating Officer for the Coldwell Banker Real Estate Corporation, and Gary Hockey, the President and CEO of Coldwell Banker Group in Canada. Coldwell Banker is the United State's oldest and one of the largest real estate organisations world-wide.
Registration is now open for the 2007 Best of Australian Real Estate Convention on the Gold Coast from 15 to 17 September, with an early bird rate available to 30 June. Past bARE delegates, and members of the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI), irean and REINSW receive a special reduction on both early bird and standard registration.
